About Our Cigar Club
Our Selection Process
For more than 30 years, we’ve been proudly delivering premium, hand-selected cigars to members of the Cigar of the Month Club by GreatClubs.com. We partner with renowned cigar makers and boutique producers from around the world to bring you the very best in craftsmanship, flavor, and consistency. Each month, we curate five different premium hand-rolled cigars that showcase a variety of regions, blends, and strengths — giving you the perfect way to explore and expand your humidor.
Whether you’re a seasoned aficionado or just beginning your cigar journey, our club provides an authentic cigar experience you can enjoy at home or share with friends. Every shipment also includes a free monthly newsletter with detailed tasting notes and insights about the cigars you’re enjoying — so you can appreciate each smoke to its fullest.
We take our cigar selection seriously — because we know our members do too. For decades, we’ve worked closely with master blenders, family-owned factories, and boutique cigar makers across the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras, and beyond. Each month, our experts handpick five distinct cigars that represent a wide range of origins, wrappers, and flavor profiles. Every cigar we choose is hand-rolled, properly aged, and inspected for quality to ensure a consistently exceptional smoking experience.
Your monthly box might feature a mix of robust maduros, smooth connecticuts, bold Nicaraguan puros, creamy Dominican blends, and limited-edition releases you won’t find in your local shop. Our goal is to deliver a balanced lineup each month — combining classic, crowd-pleasing favorites with exciting new discoveries to keep your humidor fresh and your palate inspired.
FAQs
Can I choose the cigars I receive
No. All of the cigars are pre-selected for you. Each cigar is carefully judged and approved by our cigar tasting panel. You can order a variety of different cigars brands from our Cigar Expeditions newsletter at discounted prices.
How are the cigars packaged?
Each cigar is individually vacuum sealed by us to preserve optimal freshness during shipping. Then all 5 sealed cigars are placed in an air-tight ziplock bag. They are then packed into a box ready for shipping.
How are the cigars shipped?
We deliver the cigars via U.S. Mail to ensure freshness. We prefer a daytime office address to ensure timely delivery. You must be 21 or older to receive a shipment of cigars.
How should I store my cigars?
Optimal storage is at 70° F and at 70% humidity. They will keep up to 1 week in our ziplock shipping bag. We recommend that long term you store them inside a humidor box. If this is not available, enclose them in an airtight Tupperware container with a moistened sponge. Do not put them in the freezer.
What are some examples of the cigars I may receive?
Dominican Republic’s Partagas Sabroso, Nicaragua’s Rosa Cuba Governors, United States’ San Jose Epicure, Netherlands’ Schimmelpenninck Grand Corona, Honduras’ V Centennial Churchill, Mexico’s Vuelta Abajo Robusto, Philippines’ Campeon V.
What is the shelf life of a cigar?
If stored as above they will last indefinitely. If not stored correctly, they will dry out and ultimately be ruined.
What will I receive each month?
Each month you receive 5 different fresh hand-rolled premium cigars from around the world. Also included is a free cigar cutter (in your first month’s shipment) and our club newsletter “Cigar Expeditions.” You will receive your shipment by the 3rd or 4th week of each month.
Where do the cigars come from?
We feature cigars from the world’s top cigar-producing regions — countries such as Honduras, Jamaica, Canary Islands and the Dominican Republic.
